4th day of V.O.C

"Good morning", said Emma, my roommate that morning. I replied with smile and went down to Stevens house kitchen. Feby, Daphne, Sarah, Dima and Ona already there, talking, about anything. Explaining about Indonesian culture to those Canadian, laughing, while cooking some Canadian instant noodle that we called Mr. Noodles. Of course, some of the Indonesian brought Indomie, Indonesian Noodle, because we were too afraid of not getting enough tasty and spicy Indonesian food, and also it's been a habitual for Indonesian, especially the youth to consume instant noodle, cause we have what we call 'fried noodle' which is noodle without the soup, and added some soy sauce in it. Unfortunately, we will not eat our precious Indomie just in our fourth day in Canada, because we still have another challenging days, that's why we need those Indomies to save another days. Fortunately, the Tata kitchen team offered us some Canadian instant noodles, so we were opened to try it :)

Yes, we had those noodles before breakfast, what an unhealthy lifestyle, eh? Anyway, we still had another breakfast that morning, lol. After we had breakfast, we had another session, I forgot whether it's the quiz of "what should you do and you may not do in the host family's house" or another sessions. So, let's talk about that quiz, it was fun, and I felt lucky because I can answered most of the question because I play The Sims 3. Yes, I play The Sims 3, with all of it's house chores duty, so at least I know how Canadian kept their houses, and those vocabularies that I will not get in formal lessons at school. Long live The Sims!

I forgot to write about this clipping-game thingie. It was started in the first day of V.O.C, we were given a wooden clothes clippers with random name on it (the name of our friend in a group), so we have to clip them quietly, and until the other friend will notice that your friend had clipped, then the person who clipped considered loose and have to give their clippers to the person that clipped them. The winner of this game is the one who clipped a lot of friends. I almost win the game, because only Terry, Me, and Tangkas still playing in the game. Suddenly Terri clipped me, after we watch our friend's show in front of the hall.

look, terry sat beside me, he's tricky.

The artist in front of us was hypnotizing.

That day, when we gathered as a smaller group, the supervisor presented the Host Family description in a paper that attached on Halifax map. Yen (my counterpart, the person that I will share the house with) was Interested in a host family, Evelyn Sutton and Robert MacDonald. We have to choose two host families, in case of people will also choose the same host family, so we just go for it. In fact, most of the counterpart pairs choose Evelyn Sutton and Robert MacDonald (Our Host Family) because of the location of the house and wine after dinner that they offered in the family description. Fortunately, Yen and I had them as our host family, yeaay!

That afternoon, I went to the bridge with other participants, while some of the Indonesian cooked Indonesian food for the Canadian participant.

After supper, Faisal and I went to Patterson Wharf Park, the beautiful dock in Tatamagouche, we met another friends there too, funny because our counterpart, Terry and Yeniffer also went to the dock.

After taking a  lot of photos, we went back to the hall to take a counterpart pictures and also group pictures. It was someone's idea to wear our traditional clothes to take the picture, and here we go again..
